In a somewhat unexpected development, Starhill REIT is proposing to sell its Starhill Gallery and Lot 10 properties to Starhill Global REIT (which is listed on SGX). YTL is looking to position Starhill REIT as a pure Hospitality play, while Starhill Global REIT will be a Retail play.

Quill Capita Trust was listed on Bursa Malaysia in 2007. From an initial portfolio of 4 properties in Cyberjaya, it has since added 6 more properties to its portfolio making it one of the more active REITs in Malaysia (in terms of acquisitions).
